Heads Up! The Xbox 360 Public Beta opens today! Xbox's Major Nelson posted on his blog today about the opening of the Xbox 360 Public Beta. This is the first beta that you can sign up directly from your Xbox Dashboard.
To sign up, all you have to do is look for the Xbox Beta Program tile on the home hub on the Dashboard. It's a little app that you will download and open, and it will do the rest. OK, now that the panic is over, there isn't much know yet about the Beta. It will be an overall performance boost and it will give you the abililty to buy items with real money instead of Microsoft Points. There will be a FAQ posted here later today for more of the details.
