Today, during the Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft has announced the release date of its upcoming racing game Forza Motorsport.
Turn 10's new game will launch on October 10, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Of course, the announcement was accompanied with a trailer showcasing performance customization and plenty of explosive racing in a new trailer accompanying the announcement. On top of that, we learn that the two cover cars, the 2023 No.01 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R racecar and the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray will be available in Forza Motorsport thanks to a deal with General Monors.

The game brings back the Forza Motorsport series after a long hiatus after Forza Motorsport 7 launched in 2017, bringing the franchise back to its roots after two Forza Horizon releases (4 and 5) in 2018 and 2021. Unlike its cousin series buy PlayGround games, it doesn't focus on open-world racing and remains confined to more classic circuits.
The series debuted all the way back in 2005 on the original Xbox, and it has since grown to become one of the most popular racing experiences on consoles, rivaling Sony's Gran Turismo.
